Brandon Roof Rejuvenation for Shingles With Life Left
Sun-worn asphalt shingles go stiff and shed their granules. A soy-based treatment, applied on one dry afternoon, feeds the oils back so the shingles flex again — no tear-off, no dumpster, a price agreed before we start.
The short version
Restore, don't replace
If the shingles are sound, a treatment gets more years out of them at a fraction of what a new roof runs — and the old roof never leaves the house.
One dry afternoon
The application is a few hours of work on a dry day. No tear-off, no crew tramping through for a week, no bin in the driveway.
What it is, plainly
A plant-oil spray that restores flexibility and granule hold on aging asphalt. We are upfront that it maintains a sound roof — it does not fix a failing one.
What we do
A single job, done with care: rejuvenating asphalt shingle roofs that are weathered but still worth keeping.
Asphalt Shingle Roof Rejuvenation
A soy-based spray that feeds the oils back into aging asphalt shingles, restoring flexibility and granule hold — one dry afternoon, no tear-off.
How a shingle wears out — and what the treatment changes
Florida sun and heat cook the oils out of an asphalt shingle's binder over the years. Dried out, the shingle stiffens, its edges curl and crack, and the protective granules start washing down into the gutters. The rejuvenation treatment is a soybean-oil based spray that sinks into the shingle mat and tops the lost oils back up, so it gives under heat rather than breaking and keeps a grip on its granules. It is maintenance for a sound roof, not a repair for one that is already leaking.
Re-oiled shingles move with the heat instead of splitting.
Less washes into the gutters, so the asphalt keeps its UV shield.
The existing roof is treated in place — no tear-off.
Will it help your roof?
A quick look decides it. Treatment is for roofs that are aging but intact — here is the line.
Worth treating
- Asphalt shingles in the eight-to-twenty-year range
- No active leaks and solid decking beneath
- Shingles still flat, fading and losing granules but not cracked through
- A roof you would rather keep than replace right now
Better to pass
- Water already getting in, or stained ceilings
- Whole sections missing, curled hard or broken
- Tile, metal or flat roofing — this treats asphalt shingle
- A roof that is simply worn out
Why Brandon homeowners choose us
A price before any work
You get the number, and what it includes, before a drum is opened. No surprises added once we are on the roof.
Honest about the limits
We say exactly what rejuvenation does — flexibility and granule hold — and what it will not do, like stop a leak or replace a broken shingle. On a sound roof the treatment commonly adds five to seven years.
Tidy while we work
Gutters, plants and anything nearby are protected, and we leave the property the way we found it.
Easy to reach, and we follow up
We answer, we schedule around the weather, and we check back after the treatment is done.
How it works
Three steps, start to finish
We look at the roof
Flexibility, granule loss, age and any damage — then a straight answer on whether treatment is the right move, and a price.
We treat it
On a dry afternoon the soy-based product goes on evenly across the shingles, start to finish in a few hours.
We follow up
Afterwards we walk you through the work and when it makes sense to treat the roof again.
Wondering if your roof is worth keeping?
A quick roof look gives you the straight answer, and a price, before anyone talks about spraying anything.
Where we work

Questions we get
What does the treatment actually do?
It works plant-based oils back into the asphalt, so the shingles give in the heat rather than snapping and keep a firmer grip on their granules. That slows the aging on a roof that is still sound.
How do I know my roof qualifies?
It should be asphalt shingle, somewhere around eight to twenty years old, no active leaks, and shingles still mostly intact. The on-roof check is what confirms it — and if your roof is not suited, you will hear that plainly.
How old is too old to treat?
There is no single number. Once a roof is leaking, widely cracked or shedding whole shingles, treatment will not bring it back — at that point a replacement is the honest answer.
Will it change how my roof looks?
Freshly treated shingles can look a little darker or richer at first; it settles as the product cures. It is a treatment, not a coating or a paint job.
What weather does the treatment need?
The product needs a dry stretch to soak in and cure, so we book it against the forecast. We will flag what the day calls for when we set the date.
How often should it be re-treated?
It is not a one-and-done job — treatments repeat on a cycle of several years. We can map out a sensible cadence for your particular roof once the first treatment is on.
